JOSH YOUNG (Che) Josh is thrilled to be a part of this incredible production. Josh received a 2012 Tony Award nomination and Theatre World Award for his critically acclaimed Broadway debut as "Judas" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Jesus Christ Superstar", directed by Des McAnuff. He appeared in two seasons at The Stratford Shakespeare Festival where his credits include: "Judas" in Jesus Christ Superstar, "Connie Rivers" in Grapes of Wrath, and "Che" in Evita directed by Gary Griffin, earning Broadway World Awards for each. Josh also appeared as "Marius" in the US National Tour of Les Miserables and "Tony" in the International Tour of West Side Story. Josh has performed in North America's finest regional theaters including La Jolla Playhouse, Walnut Street Theater, St. Louis MUNY, Baltimore Center Stage and North Carolina Theatre. CHRISTOPHER JOHNSTONE (Magaldi) Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Christopher now resides in New York City and Los Angeles. He trained as an opera singer at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Tanglewood Music Center (under the baton of James Levine) and several young artists program including Glimmerglass YAAP. Evita has been a dream show since he first discovered Broadway at age 13. It’s a dream come true to finally be part of such a prestigious show and cast. Christopher was also honored to be part of the 7-time, Tony Award winning Lincoln Center production of South Pacific that toured the U.S. and Canada. Reprising the role of Lt. Cable at Ogunquit Playhouse landed him a nomination for Broadway World Boston’s “Best Actor” award. Christopher continues to serve as a guest soloist for many orchestras including the Boston Pops, Houston Symphony, Long Beach Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony and most recently the Omaha Symphony’s “The Wizard and I: An Evening of Stephen Schwartz” alongside Julia Murney, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Darius De Haas. RYAN K. BAILER (Ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of the Evita cast and family! Ryan formerly was seen in Les Miserables (3rd National Tour, Javert U/S), Evita (Chicago’s Marriott Lincolnshire, Peron U/S), Forever Plaid (Chicago’s Royal George Theatre, Smudge), and A Wonderful Life (Chicago's Candlelight Theatre). After performing regularly on Chicago and New York stages, Ryan spent the past few years dipping his hand in the business world, where he founded Ryan Bailer Support (RBS), a Macintosh support company. Starting out by just helping friends with their computers, RBS now sports clients from New York, Detroit, Los Angeles, Hawaii & Scotland! Most importantly, because of the continued success of RBS, Ryan is now able to come back to his first love, and could not be happier to be a part of the National Tour of Evita. Ryan has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan (M Go Blue!), and is ever grateful to his friends and family for their love and support over the last few years. TONY HOWELL (Ensemble) is a dynamic and versatile artist with credits from New York to Shanghai. He last toured North America with Disney's Beauty and the Beast (Swing, u/s Lefou). Most recently, he originated the roles of Jose and Inner Goddess in 50 Shades of F****D Up, the forthcoming Off-Broadway parody. Prior to that, Tony completed Show Boat (Principal Dancer) at the Kennedy Center and helped raise 1.43 million dollars for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS through Broadway Bares 23. Other New York credits include Broadway Varietease (Swing) and Broadway Backwards 7 (Dance Captain). Tony’s favorite regional roles include the Emcee, Skimbleshanks, Action and Robert Martin. He is currently finishing his first book - a career and wellness guide for burgeoning performers. While Tony greatly enjoys teaching the art of theatre, he also enjoys coaching the business. Katie is originally from Boston, and holds a BFA from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. PATRICK OLIVER JONES (Ensemble) Before joining Evita, Patrick was swashbuckling and wooing maidens as the French pirate, Capt. Francois DuBois, in Swiss Family Robinson as part of the annual New York Musical Theater Festival. But Patrick is no stranger to the road as he was with The Addams Family 1st National Tour for a year and half, going on for both Lurch and Mal Beineke. His Off-Broadway credits include the world premieres of The Extraordinary Ordinary as well as Magdalene, where he worked under the incomparable Richard Maltby, Jr). He has also recently performed in the American premiere of Raindogs, a rock musical based on Lanford Wilson's Balm in Gilead, as well as regional productions of Tommy (Capt. Walker), Man of La Mancha (Carrasco), Les Misérables (Enjolras), Beauty and the Beast (Gaston), and Grease (with Joey Fatone). One of his most spectacular productions was as a Principal Singer in Jubilee! at Bally's Las Vegas; that was in sharp contrast to the beautifully intimate Tango Buenas Aires in which he sang two songs from Evita. In addition to numerous musicals and showtunes, Patrick has also performed in such dramatic works as The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail (Emerson), To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday (David), The Tempest (Ferdinand), and Look Homeward, Angel (Eugene). His recordings include the original cast albums of Child of the Night, a musical based on Bram Stoker's Dracula, and First Comes Love, which first premiered at the Orlando Fringe Festival.
